Janet Bates, 82, of Deer Park, Texas, passed away, Monday, August 12, 2024. She was born in New York, New York on March 24, 1942 to Harry and Rosamond Weiner. Janet had a career as a dog groomer in the Deer Park area for many years. She had a passion for sewing, was always helping others, and loved her pets.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her brother, Ted Weiner, daughter Rhonda [Dale] Gould, son Michael [Carol] Cook, son Nick [Phitsamai] Heckman, daughter Crystal White, son Michael Stacy Heckman, daughter Heather Bates, bonus son David Bates, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation for Janet will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505, followed by a Celebration of Janet's Life at 10:00 AM.
