Jeanette Michalinos went suddenly to be with her LORD on January 24, 2018. She was born Bobbie Jeanette Sessions on December 11, 1930 in Weatherford, Texas to Raymond and Era Sessions. She grew up to be a beautiful lady who graduated with a full scholarship to Julliard-but God had other plans. She fell in love with a Greek young man, Nick Michalinos, marrying him on March 11, 1948. Their lives were totally changed when they both found the LORD as their personal savior. Bro. Nick became a pastor of Austin Avenue Baptist Church in Pasadena with Mrs. Nick faithfully by his side for 45 years until his death in 1996. She kept on keeping on for the Lord in every way. She is survived by a daughter, Evette Michalinos Hall and husband David, granddaughter Jeanette Nickaye Hall and husband David, 2 great grandchildren, Izabella Nikolette and Nikolas Ray Kaster. Mrs. Nick was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church for 21 years and will truly be missed. She loved to sing about the LORD and taught her Sunday school class-even the Sunday before she passed away, she will never be forgotten. We all can imagine when she saw her Lord Jesus and the Bro. Nick-it was a wonderful reunion. To close your eyes here on earth but then to wake up in Glory! See you soon, Mrs. Nick “just over in the Glory Land.”

I attended Austin Ave Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed Bro Nick's Bible preaching, always out of the Bible! I sat in my Sunday School class all those years and learned just as much from Mrs Nick! A special lady and gifted teacher. Heavens gain and our loss!
