Jeannette Marie Tiller, 72, was born on December 17, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Byron Eddie and Sadie Mae Alford and entered into rest on Friday October 30, 2020. She was a twin to sister Janice, they were the first two of three children.
Growing up, she attended Our Lady of Fatima, Galena Park Jr. High, Galena Park High School, and San Jacinto College where she earned an Associates Degree. She began working as a bank secretary after graduation. Later, she went to work for MD Anderson as an executive secretary. In 2010 Jeannette retired after 18 years of service.
Jeannette was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She was a devout Catholic, who rarely ever missed church, and proud to be a Christian. Jeannette married Norman Tiller on February 2, 1991 at Hermann Chapel. Jeannette was blessed with the birth of three children, they were a great joy and the most important part of her life.
Jeannette was always active. She was involved selling Mary Kay cosmetics. She loved to go dancing, oldies music and classic country and western, and she loved Elvis. In early years, she liked to paint. She also loved dolls all of her life. Jeannette would always take in the ones that others may not want.
Jeannette was classy, sweet, kind, sexy, and a strong woman.
Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister Janice Silva, and her sister Karen Barnett.
As we proceed with the celebration of her life, she will be missed by many. Those left to treasure her memory are her husband Norman Tiller; son Keith Lusk; daughters Alisha Walton (Josh) and Teresa Palmer (Sean); step daughters Kim Tiller and Tiffany Allen (Jason); and grandchildren Jacob Maddux, Zachary Palmer, Marisa Palmer, Elijah Palmer, Abigail Walton, Stephen Walton, Logan Allen, and Lily Allen.
