She is preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin Bingham and Nellie Ola King; her husband of 54 years, Edwin Lee Nolen; and only child, James Nolen; as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.
She graduated from Pasadena High School in 1947 and attended Modern Beauty College in Houston, Texas. She lived in Golden Acres since 1943 and was a member of South Avenue Baptist Church. She made this personal testimony: "I accepted the Lord at 15 years of age after something tapped me on my left shoulder and said, "Come in my dear" I did and I have never doubted for a second my salvation.
Jessie, commonly known as Snooks, loved to listen to Jimmy Swaggart ministry 24 hours a day and she loved having visits from her many friends.
A visitation for Jessie will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 2:00 to 2:30 PM in the Lone Star State Room at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy., Pasadena, Texas, 77505 with a Service to occur at 2:30 PM in the same venue. The graveside ceremony will occur immediately following at 3:00 PM in the Memorial Park at the same location.
