Joe McCord passed away on November 12, 2011 in Houston, TX at the age of 75. He was born on August 6, 1936 in Arkansas City, KS to William and Roberta McCord. Joe is preceded in death by his parents; and niece, Theresa Ramsey. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Nannette McCord; 4 children, Christopher McCord and wife Denise, David McCord and wife Kimberly, Brenda McCord, Cathy Landry and husband Bruce; 9 grandchildren, Tyler McCord and wife Carrie, Hannah McCord, Connor McCord, Brody McCord, Remy McCord, Lily McCord, Drew McCord, Joseph Landry, Breana Landry; sister, Janice Ramsey and husband Edward; mother-in-law Naomi Earline Belote; brother-in-law, Kenneth Belote and wife Beverly; 6 nieces and nephews; and his special friends, Foxy and Birdie. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2011 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Deer Park, TX.
