At the age of 18, Jesus started working for the Port Terminal Railroad. He retired on May 25,1990 after 45 years. On January 10, 1948, Jose De Jesus married Sara Gonzalez. They were married for 45 years before she went to be with the Lord on September 30, 1993.
Jose De Jesus is proceeded in death by both of his parents, Sabina Ontiveros Adame and Abram Adame; his brother, Lupe Adame; his sisters, Trinidad Rocha and Elena Munoz; his wife, Sara Gonzalez Adame and his son, Elias Adame.
He is survived by his sisters Elisa Tellez and Benita Lozano; his six children Martha Ramirez and husband Josue; Ruth Johnson and husband Don; Jose De Jesus Adame Jr. and wife Belinda; Yolanda Orozco and husband Ruben; Robert Adame and wife Anita; Roland Adame and wife Rosey. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Jose will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. til 8:00 P.M., at Grand View Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 10:00 A.M.
