Our beloved, Jose M. Martinez, departed from us on October 18, 2013 in Woodlands, Texas. He was born on October 6, 1957 in Monterrey, Mexico to Jose Matilde Martinez Sr. and Antera Genoveva Martinez Gamez. Jose was preceded in death by his mother Antera Genoveva Martinez Gamez. He is survived by his wife Rosalinda Nieto Martinez, daughters Rosalinda Hernandez, Veronica E. Phelps, Gabriela Barrera and son Jose A. Martinez and wife Julia Martinez; 11 grandchildren; father Jose Matilde Martinez; brother, Jose Luis Martinez and numerous loving family members and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 25, 2013 for visitation from 5pm to 6pm at Grand View Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 6PM. A Funeral Mass will be on Saturday October 26, 2013 at 10am with viewing one hour before at St. Alphonsus Church, 9217 E. Avenue L. Houston, TX 77012.
