Juanita was born on February 20,1944 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Victor and Estella B. Flores.
She spent her younger years as a hospital volunteer, where she would eventually meet her future husband. After marrying, she and her husband settled in Pasadena, Texas where they went on to raise their 5 beautiful children. She fulfilled roles that they would fondly remember such as PTA volunteer, classroom mom, chauffeur extraordinaire, and domestic goddess among others. She took each one in stride, throughout the span of several decades, Juanita held a relationship with the Lord through her Catholic faith and sought to learn more through a study of the bible later in life.
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Estella, brothers Victor Jr., Ramon, Rafael, sisters Sulema, Herminia, Magdalena and daughters Aimee' and Lorena Anzaldua. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Leonardo Anzaldua Jr., her children Leonardo Anzaldua III and daughter in law Alicia, Leraldo Anzaldua, Loreli Fauber and son in law Mark, Laniel Anzaldua her 6 grandchildren whom she loved dearly.... Kathan Brannon, Ashtin, Emma, Ayden, and Leonardo Anzaldua IV, Esmee' Fauber, as well as numerous family members whom she held near and dear to her heart.
Juanita was an incredible woman and although small in stature, she had a larger-than-life personality. She often enjoyed crafts, singing, dancing and a love for gardening. She was well known for her "green thumb" and the ability to make just about anything grow. A beloved Friend, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Wife and Grandmother that was lovingly outspoken, caring and considerate with a refreshing sense of humor, will forever be remembered by her family and friends.
Family visitation for Juana will begin Monday, August 8, 2022 from 08:00 AM to 09:00 AM with public visitation from 09:00 am to 10:00 am. Memorial service will occur from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and committal / interment to immediately follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grand View Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
