Julia Marie Beard Trotti, 46, of Deer Park, Texas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. She was born in San Diego California to Cecil Thomas and Verne Ivey Beard. Julie, as she was known to everyone who loved her, grew up in Houston, Texas. She graduated from North Shore High School in 1993. She graduated from University of Houston in 2003 with her Bachelor’s in Education and then graduated from Lamar University in 2014 with her master’s degree in school counseling. Julie spent fourteen years in education. For her first seven years, she was an eighth-grade math teacher at Northshore Middle School. She then transitioned to be a school counselor for seven more years at Williamson Elementary. Julie was looking forward to continuing her career with her new promotion to be a middle school counselor back at Northshore Middle School.
Julie loved the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed classic movies, reading, Disney, and Elvis. However, most of all, time with her family was what she cherished especially family game nights. She loved God, church, and most of all children. Julie spent eighteen years in children’s ministry. She would help run kids camp in the summers in Kerrville, Texas. She became a certified minister and started her ministry as the children’s pastor at Central Assembly of God. She then spent ten plus years as the children’s church pastor at First Assembly of God in La Porte Texas. Those children became "her kids" and always held special places in her heart until the day she died. Julie adored children and saw the potential in every single child that she encountered. Julie has a way of bringing out the best in people and being a persona of Jesus and his love to those she met. Like her mother before her, Julie shared Jesus with anyone she met. One verse she shared with others was Colossians 3:17, “And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.” This is how Julie spent her life. She represented the love of Jesus to everyone and always gave thanks and credit to God.
Her loving parents precede her in death. She is survived and will be greatly missed by the love of her life, Johnny Trotti, whom she spent six wonderful years together, her children whom she was so proud of, Heaven, Jordyn, Jadyn, Jamison, and Bella. She is also survived by her sisters Kristie McKinney and husband Lee (League City), and Nikki Parker and husband Stephen (Pasadena) as well as her nephews Zachary, Colin, and Maddox. She is also survived by her Aunt Joan and Uncle Tom Ritchie as well as many cousins and loving friends.
In lieu of flowers, the Trotti Family would appreciate monetary gifts towards BGMC Children’s missions.
