Kathleen Albanese, at the age of 77 years old, of Deer Park, TX, passed away on September 21, 2020. She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on June 17, 1943 to Spencer & Alice Terry. She was married to Laurence (Lucky) Albanese for 51 years.
Kathleen had a career in Income Taxes for H&R Block and her own company Taxes on Wheels and was a realtor for Century 21. She was also an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and she said that was the hardest test she ever took.
She also had a passion for fishing, crabbing and casting a casting net to catch bait as well as collecting seashells from the beach and gardening. She was also an amazing painter but couldn’t draw anything except for a Gullygaloo bird as she called it. She loved having the family bring her back any kind of a rock from the places they vacationed at and had a huge collection of them on her window seal.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Rita Clark, her father Spencer Aaron Terry, her husband, Laurence Richard Albanese and her grandparents, Al and Della Clark.
She is survived by her son, Michael Albanese and wife Janet, daughter, Patsy Martinez and husband Mario, daughter Jeanie Quick and husband Steve, her Grandsons, Ryan Albanese, Josh & Andrew Martinez, Granddaughters, Jamie & Julie Albanese, Janie Eldridge, Hannah Brinegar and Makayla Quick, Great Grandchildren, Gavin, Jett & Rosalyn and her very dear best friend Martina Coker.
If she could give a last wish for everyone, it would be to always celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and raise a glass in her honor and to slow down and smell the roses because Rome wasn’t built in a day.
