Kevin Paul Loosemore, 45, of La Porte, Texas passed away November 26, 2022. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. In high school, he was an avid soccer player and continued loving the sport into his adulthood. After graduating, Kevin began his career in the petrochemical industry working for Bay LTD as a Firewatch on turnarounds. He advanced to a pipefitter and continued in the oil industry, eventually developing a love for working offshore. He lived for a short time in Louisiana and eventually landed in Houston as Senior Project Manager for Grand Isle Shipyard. He was admired and respected as a co-worker and a friend.
Spending time with his wife and kids was his joy, and family vacations were always memorable. Disney was a household favorite – Kevin was especially fond of Donald Duck. He also had a passion for fishing, hunting and golfing with his kids, dad, brothers and friends.
Kevin was full of life and love. His generosity and desire to help others was evident in his daily living. He was always willing to lend a hand or a shoulder during anyone’s time of need.
He was preceded in death by his brother Christopher.
He is survived by his parents Edward (Cindy) Loosemore and Leida (Kenny) Orgeron; his wife Brandy; children Danika, McKenzie, Cody and Chase; brothers Lonnie Dale (Candace) and Matthew Ryan (Danielle); sister-in-law Erin (beloved wife of Christopher); and six nieces and nephews who adored him.
Visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy., Pasadena, TX 77505, on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
