Kevin Eric Naranjo

On March 28, 1989, Kevin was born to Raul and Jeanette Naranjo, Jr. in Houston, Texas. He graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake in 2015 with his bachelor’s degree in graphic design. He was the first in his family to obtain a bachelor’s degree and would inspire everyone else in his family to strive for excellence.

He was employed at San Jacinto College as a Coordinator for the South Campus Testing Center. He loved gaming and watching sports with his family and friends. He was a one-of-a-kind friend, brother, husband, father, and son.

As fate would have it, Kevin would meet his future wife Cynthia (Cindy) in August of 2011. It would be love at first sight, and he knew from the moment they met she was the one for him. Kevin and Cindy would be married on January 14, 2017, and in the following November 26, 2018, they would welcome their baby boy, Kevin Raul Naranjo, into this world.

Anyone who knew Kevin knew that he had a huge heart and smile on his face all the time. He had immense love for his family and making up songs on the spot for his baby and wife. His friends and family will miss him more than words can say.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Raul and Jeanette Naranjo Jr., and nephew Collin Naranjo. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Naranjo and son Kevin Raul Naranjo, brother and sisters Jennifer Naranjo, Marisa and Paul Bryan, Raul and Ashley Naranjo III, Michelle and Stephen Ybarra, Dianna and T.R. Owen, Andrew and Crissy Naranjo, Brandon and Molly Naranjo, and; nieces and nephews Annalise Owen, Peyton Bryan, Emerson Naranjo, Thomas Owen IV, Scarlett Naranjo.

A joint service will be held for Jeanette Naranjo and Kevin Naranjo at First Baptist Church of Pasadena on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11 am in the Chapel.
