Leona P. Talley was born on October, 4, 1918 in Warner, Oklahoma. Leona went to her Heavenly home on May 27, 2012 at the age of 93 years and 7 months. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Talley, her parents Orville and Myrtle Stevenson, four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Shirel and husband Jerry of Deer Park, TX; one son, Robert L. Talley and wife Dianna of Garland, TX; one sister, Bernice Johnson and husband Hub of Yuba City, CA; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park. Jared Byrd, Jordan Byrd, Jeff Byrd, Earnie Hicks, Christopher Hawthorne, and Corbin Hawthorne will be assisting as Pallbearers Bobby Hawthorne and Bobby Long as Honorary Pallbearers.
