Leslie "PawPaw" Utzman, 89 years young, passed away September 7, 2026, in Pasadena, Texas. He was born on January 16, 1937 in Goldthwaite, Texas. Leslie was a loving husband, Dad, PawPaw, and Great-PawPaw and was loved by everyone who met him.
Leslie is preceded in death by his parents, Alcie Utzman, Ruth Utzman, wife - Margie Utzman, and granddaughter Krystal Utzman.
Left to cherish his memory are his four children: daughter Cindy and husband George Allen, daughter Evelyn and husband Bobby Hale, son Leslie Eugene and wife Nancy Utzman, and son Robert and wife Julee Utzman. He also leaves his beloved 9 grandchildren: Leslie and wife Chana Freeman, Tiffany Allen, Ashley and husband Ryan Highfill, Kason Allen, and Heather Stephens, Nathan Utzman and partner Garrett Jameson, Christopher and wife Gena Utzman, Lane Utzman, Austin and wife Shelby Flores and Rylee Utzman. As well as his 12 great-grandchildren Aiden Utzman, Paige Highfill, Kinley Allen, Kayleigh Utzman, Karley Augustino, Kyle Utzman, Olivia Allen, Kason Allen Jr., Weston Jameson, Jordyn Flores, Emma Flores, and Audrina Freeman. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, Yellow Rose Chapel, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505, on September 16, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Leslie's Life will take place at Grand View Funeral Home on September 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Immediately following, he will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
