Oh my, where to start. LG was a man of few words yet one of the funniest people I have known. I'll never forget being in what I thought was the ladies room in Dunkin' Donuts in Baytown (next to Jack in the Box) and hearing LG call "Lisa?" in his soft, quiet way. When I answered, the next thing I heard was him laughing hysterically because I was actually in the mens room!  Then, of course, I started laughing. Seems like we laughed forever about that. Unfortunately, that wasn't the last time I made that mistake! Seems to be a trait of mine. But this is about LG - sweet, goofy, earnest, loyal, hard-headed, soft-hearted LG. I'm so grateful my brother had LG as a bestie. They, with all their other close friends, have given us many great memories.  I know he will be missed by so many, especially his family. Good-bye, sweet man.

Vince introduced LG to David and I over 40 years ago. There are a lot of wonderful memories over that length of time. Patty you  LG and all your family are such a special part of our family. You are an amazingly strong woman.  We loved LG and miss his wonderful smile and laugh that I still hear. All our love and support.

I worked with LG on several projects.   He had the driest sense of humor,  you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth next, but it was usually a zinger.  A stickler for details in his work, most of us couldn't pass his drawing folding requirements!

I've thought of him often,  but life keeps us in an uproar and didn't keep in touch.   Rest in peace, watch over us all, especially your family.

LG was one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. I love the way he loved sweet Patty Gail.  He will be greatly missed. My love and prayers are with his family.

LG and I grew up together on South Circle, right across the street from each other.  We ended up at the opposite end of the country and didn’t hear from each other for many years. We reconnected by phone a couple of years ago and talked for hours, reminiscing about the wonderful childhood we had together.  It was tremendous.  

Whoever woke up first would walk across the street and bang on the other’s window to get him out of bed, then the day and the fun would begin. We would hop on our bikes and go all over Baytown, play baseball in the street, shoot marbles in the front yard (no grass left in our yard), play football in the neighbors’ three or four connected yards, none of them having any grass left after all of this either. 

One year after Christmas we gathered the trees and built a fort to hide behind while we shot china berries with our sling shots at other neighborhood kids. Unfortunately, our parents’ cars caught the brunt of most of the berries which made them a little bit on the angry side. We graduated to shooting roman candles at each other on New Year’s. Crazy, I know, but this was South Circle. 

LG and I loved driving down to Galveston as we got older. One day we were surfing down there and when we came out of the water, we were both covered in tar. We started rolling around in the sand to try to get it off, laughing the whole time. I bought a van for my first vehicle, which came without a passenger chair. So we put a lawn chair in so LG had something to ride in. One time I took off too fast and LG went tumbling, but didn’t lose a drop out of his can of Schlitz. Lol Yes, LG and I did some partying in our teenage years together. We had so many, many Great times together, I could just go on and on. 

Thank you LG, these memories and tons more growing up with you will stay in my heart FOREVER!

L. G. was an Ole Friend all thru high school and beyond. Many journeys and adventures. Somewhere, somehow we lost connection moving on with our lives. Wish we could have reconnected and discussed old times- trail rides, Garner, Harley riding. He was truly One of The Good Ole Boys. I am sure the Gates above have opened wide and welcome you in a Grand way. Gonna miss and Love ya 

L.G.’s life was a life well lived. My life will also be a life well lived because I had the privilege of being part of his. Rest In Peace old friend. May your arrows always strike they’re mark and you have tight lines in your next journey.

I am so saddened to hear about LG's passing. We worked together at S&B, he was one of the first people I met. He sat right behind me in a big bay waiting for our project to get started.  Bldg C is supposed to be haunted, so LG took me on a "tour" of the building. Course he told me stories as the tour was progressing - He had me so scared I was never there before daylight and never after dark! He was a kind, quick witted man with a heart of gold.  I will miss LG - he was "one of the good guys". I  pray for his family who he loved very much. Hopefully God has a recurve bow waiting for him!

LG - we never had the chance to meet but I’ve heard many wonderful stories. I feel blessed and honored to have been there for you the night before your passing. There is absolutely no doubt that you are resting in Heaven. You accepted Jesus as your Savior and He accepted you. - JJ

I'm pretty sure you were my first crush even though you sprayed me in the face with that water hose while filling my kiddie pool. You were the young "cool" uncle. A good man with  a big heart gone too soon. Much love to family and friends who I know must be heartbroken. I'm sure your love will keep them strong.

LG came into my life when I was 10 years old.  He had NO idea what he was getting himself into with me and my sister Melissa, but he found out pretty quick... 2 granddaughters, 3 Grandsons and 1 GREAT granddaughter and 35 years later and here we are. He stuck by our sides through all of it. Elementary , JR. high and high school , then he did it all over again with 2 of his grandsons. When we lost Melissa and Desirae , as broken as he was, he pieced himself together and was my Mother’s rock. 
My mother was the center of his world and him, hers. This is tough and it’s gonna get tougher but we will get through this somehow, but I will make sure mom eats and stays out of the baby aisle (sorry Lily :/ ) and I will always Mow my lawn exactly how you said too. I will miss you fiercely. Thank you for stepping In and being a Father to us , I know you are reunited with Melissa and Desirae and so many more and that brings me peace. I love you. 

LG always knew how to make his great great granddaughter smile. Lily and LG had a special bond the moment Piero and I brought her home from the hospital. He would always take off his ball cap and put it on her little head and she would just laugh and laugh. He taught her how to wave and clap her hands and she hasn’t stopped ever since. He was so protective over her too. LG absolutely adored Lily and Lily adored her Papa. I’m going to miss how he would text me and P to get home when we were out too late. He raised Piero and Lucas to be loving and respectable young men, I know they both will make LG so proud. Now there is three beautiful guardian angels looking over this family. Patty, Lily and I love you so much. You truly are the strongest women I know. 

When I was a kid, LG and Patty were always around. Either they were at my parents house, hanging out in the driveway in lawn chairs or we were over at their house in the driveway in lawn chairs. There was a whole lot of Driveway Lawn chair sitting in the 1990's. Anyway, I would sit and listen to the stories that would go back and forth between LG, Jerry, Vince and my Dad. Stories of their glory days riding Harleys, Bar Hoppin', Trips to Canyon Lake, Lake Travis, Cut N' Shoot, Horseshoe, Toledo Bend, Wilson Lake and Missouri. They're stories about riding motorcycles were Legendary, I can probably retell them to the letter. I looked up to each and every one of them like they were Comic Book heroes from another world. They made me who I am.

LG never missed a good opportunity to pick on me, give me a hard time or give me some good advise. If I was slacking around the house, he told me to take the trash out and help out more. When I always struggled with my weight, he told me to get my ass down on the ground and do push ups. He even gave me an old punching bag he had. In fact, LG was a guardian angel well before his time. Back in 2014 all of my wild and crazy running around had gotten me in trouble with the law. I got arrested and LG was very concerned about me, he sent me a ton of emails and messages checking on me and making sure I was going to change my ways and straighten out. After I got off probation I started Bar hopping around Baytown, every time I checked into a Bar on Facebook my phone would immediately "Ding". And there would be a message from LG, "What the hell do you think you're doing??? Do you have a Sober Ride Home??? Where is your Truck right now??? Are you being a dumbass again??? I'll come down there and kick your ass!!!!".  He was all ways there watching over me. I always knew he genuinely cared about me and loved me. When I close my eyes I can here his voice. And whenever I do something stupid....I can hear his laugh. I already miss that man dearly.

I loved LG because he was a awesome spouse to my best friends mom and an awesome step dad to my best friend. He loved all the babies and was quite the character. 
He helped  them get thru the toughest thing any family could endure. How lucky could one family be and have so many guardian angels looking after them. 

I worked with LG on several projects.    He was a good man with a good heart.   I was truly saddened to hear of his passing.  

Patty I was with you when you met LG and it was love at first sight~~~We had some great times back in the day and LG was always a sweetheart.  My heart and prayers are with you.  Hang in there girlfriend, Love You
