Margaret "Honey" Reyes

Margaret “Honey” Reyes went to her eternal resting place with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 21, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born September 18, 1939, in Goliad, Texas and made an impact on everyone she met with her endearing smile and loving commitment to her faith and family. Honey was a dedicated wife and mother who was passionate about living a full life surrounded by those she loved. She and her husband, Refugio “Jr” Reyes, celebrated 60 years of marriage together and had a love that will transcend the generations.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus & Tomasita Rubio, her brothers Albert Rubio, Jose Rubio, John Rubio, and her sister Maclovia Gonzales.

Honey is survived by her loving husband Refugio “Jr” Reyes; her children (and their spouses) Yvette & Todd Ogden, Dorothy & Al Harold, Paul & Carrie Reyes, Michael & Angie Reyes; her grandchildren (and their spouses) Pilar & Travis Davis, Bill Ogden, Brett & Hannah Ogden, Paul Jr & Kailey Reyes, Zachary Reyes, Emily & Ricky Teepe, Natalie Nix, Brian Reyes & Evalyn Aguirre, Ava Reyes, Haley Harold, Austin Harold & Rachel McMahan; her great-grandchildren Knox, Rhett & Grace Davis, Jack Ogden, Ophelia & Penelope Ogden, Everette & Eleanor Teepe, Addison Harold; her brother Guadalupe Rubio; her sister Coquita Vargas, and numerous beloved family members.

Honey was a beautiful woman who wanted to be remembered as someone who loved her family fiercely.

A visitation for Honey will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a rosary reading to begin at 7pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, immediately followed by a celebration of life reception from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
