Mark Andrew Tanet

Mark was born in New Orleans, LA on August 3, 1957, to A.J. & Carol Tanet. He spent his childhood years first in Metairie, Louisiana, then in Clear Lake City, TX. Mark remained in the Clear Lake area for most of his life and was dedicated to advancing computer and medical technologies throughout his 28-year career with HCA Healthcare. Mark was immensely proud of his children and the happiest when he was with those he loved. His legendary crawfish boils brought the entire family together for countless celebrations through the years.

Mark is survived by his wife, Carla Tanet of Magnolia, TX; his daughters, Stephanie (Mike) Hoskins of Somers, MT, Colleen (Jarod) Knight of League City, TX, Kerri Tanet (Eric Stone) of Ketchikan, AK, and Bailey Tanet of San Antonio, TX; his stepdaughter, Payten (Alex) Johnston and stepson, Gavin (Ann) Arnold; his beloved grandchildren, Evelyn Johnson, Lynn Hoskins, Vincent Knight, Lincoln Knight, Ayla Johnston, Ronin Arnold-Johnston, and William Arnold-Mathies; his mother, Carol Tanet; his siblings, Tami Crum, Cindi Johncock, and Jay Tanet. Lastly, Mark is survived by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a great many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena, TX.
