Martha never met a stranger, whether human or animal. She even shared her drawing space with the feral cats in her neighborhood. She possessed an extrasensory perception that often amazed those around her, and she brightened every room she entered.
A gifted and creative artist, Martha had a poem published and enjoyed painting ceramic figurines, knitting, crocheting, and creating freehand drawings with pens. She generously gave many of her handmade projects to friends and family. Martha also created an adult coloring book that her family hopes to publish in her memory.
Martha will be deeply missed by her mother, Martha Reitch Findley; her brothers, William “Will” Findley and Clinton “Clint” Findley; her aunt, Rita Stone; her uncles, James Findley and Harold Findley; and many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thestal Don Findley; her grandparents, Louis and Evelyn “Sis” Reitch; and Elza and Lois Findley.
Memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
