Mary Ann Bayles

Mary Ann Bayles (Fleming), born on June 22, 1935, in Paris, Texas, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 90. Recently a resident of Caldwell, Texas, Mary Ann was formerly from Pasadena, Texas.

Mary was a beloved housewife, mom, grandma, great grandma, and great great grandma. Raised in and around the Paris, Texas area, she was known for her excellent southern cooking, love of gardening, and passion for canning food from her garden. Her favorite color was red, and she cherished red roses. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to gospel and country music, with Willie Nelson and George Jones being her favorite singers. She also loved dining out, shopping for cardigans, watching cop shows on TV, and had a special fondness for policemen.

Mary is survived by her sister, Judy Blackford; brother, Jerry Fleming; and sister-in-law, Ellen Fleming. Her children, Sherry Garrison, Ronnie Wood, Janice McMurry, Randy Bayles and wife Debbie, Patricia Johnson, and Lisa Tibbens, along with her grandchildren, Sandi Harrington and husband Chris, Krissy Rose and husband Alan, Matthew Garrison and wife Sabreana, Hollie Pilcher, Miranda Wood, Heather Wood, Little Ronnie Wood, Christopher Wood, Jennifer Sanders, James Walker and wife Fawn, Aaron McMurry and wife Meagan, Kimberly Bayles, Katelyn Bayles, Jonathan Johnson, and Myles Johnson, will deeply miss her.

Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Jaren Rone and wife Kara, Chelsea Rone, Jacob Rone and wife Carly, Joseph Rone and wife Jolie, Ashley Harrington, Lauren Bradley and husband Cole, Cameron Napper, Alanna Rose, Karen Garrison, Kayla Garrison, Kenzy Garrison, Tabitha Brooks, Warrin Brooks, Amy Smith and Greg Szabo, Catherine Smith, Micheal and wife Cheyenne, Britni Choate, Jessi Heishman, Conway Walker, Tyler McMurry, Ryan McMurry and wife Sara, Gavin McMurry and fiancée Hailey Dollins, Kaylie Gutierrez and husband Michael, Presley McMurry, Tristan Glosson, Ace Glosson, Paige Glosson, and Koen Johnson.

Mary also had 14 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lida Fleming; her husband, Gene Bayles; her siblings, Robert Fleming, Weldon Fleming, Dan Fleming, and Eva McDonald; her son-in-laws, Richard McMurry and William (Bill) Tibbens; her grandson, Zachary Wood; her grandson-in-law, Jerry Sanders; and her great-grandson, Harold Walker.

Mary Ann Bayles will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
