Mary Davis Farley, 88, passed away on March 28, 2013 in Friendswood, Texas. She was born on April 17, 1924 in Henderson, Kentucky to Joseph and Lela Melton. Mary relocated to the Houston, Texas area in 1948 where she resided until she passed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Farley and son, Gary Farley. She is survived by her 2 sons, Dennis Farley and wife Jeanne and Steve Farley and wife Amy all of La Porte, Texas; daughter, Vicki Farley of Spring, Texas; 5 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 3 great-grandsons; 1 step-great-grandson; 9 great-granddaughters and 3 step-great-granddaughters. She retired from being a Real Estate Broker and served for many years on the Board of Directors for AARP. She loved all and every holiday themes but she especially enjoyed family gatherings. She treasured her family, love and friendships. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home with Interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
