Mary "Jane" Dodson passed away on August 7, 2021 at the age of 79. She is reunited in eternity with husband and lifelong soulmate, Berton Keith Dodson. Jane is survived by children Michael Eric Dodson and Randall Lloyd Dodson; cherished daughter-in-law Melissa Dodson; beloved grandson Colby Dodson; and siblings Conrad Kindinger, Michael Kendinder, and Maria Carter.
Jane was born and raised in Trotwood, Ohio but she loved calling Texas home for the last 50 years of her life. After years of living in La Porte, she and Berton spent their remaining years in Baytown on the property they loved.
Jane was a devoted wife and mother, yet still found time to serve as a Special Education teacher for many years, and then as a Carrier for the Post Office. Jane was a force of nature who will be missed by family, friends, and great garage sale host.
An open, Graveside only Memorial service will be held at the Grandview in Pasadena on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
