Mary Lorene Singleton

Mary Lorene Singleton, 89 of Pasadena, Texas was born September 13, 1932 in Haskell, Texas to Henry L. and Eula (Beckham) Crow and went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. She was a Pasadena resident since 1952; family gatherings and playing any type of games were very important to her, a couple of her favorites were Bingo and Skipbo. The family gatherings always included food and just being together. She was involved in the activities at her church and she also enjoyed being with her church family.

Lorene is survived by her children, Kathy Pitts; Larry Singleton and wife, Pam; and Vicki Stuart and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Jimmy Berryman and wife, Victoria, Dale Pitts and wife, Hillary, Laura Kilpatrick and husband, Lincoln, Kyle Singleton and wife, McKenzie and Hannah Stuart; great-grandchildren, Alexis Wooster and husband, Taylor; Chesney Berryman and fiancé, Cooper Harris, and Kiersten Berryman; great-great-grandchildren, Jaxsyn Pitts, Addisyn Pitts, Brennyn Pitts, Grayson Pitts, Jensen Pitts, Beckett Singleton, and great-great grandchildren, Cason Berryman, Waylon Wooster, along with son-in-law, Kenny Berryman.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Clyde Singleton; parents, Henry and Eula Crow, twin sister, Florene Kingston, sisters, Ora Faye Halliburton and Joyce Smith and brother, Elton Crow, along with daughter, Gail Berryman and grandson, Roy Pitts.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home with Funeral services being held 12:00pm, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Asbury Methodist Church in Pasadena with burial following at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bob Stuart, Jimmy Berryman, Dale Pitts, Kyle Singleton, Ricky Smith, and Kenny Berryman with Tom Nalley and Lincoln Kilpatrick serving as honorary pallbearers.
