Mercedes Abilez was born on September, 24 1938 and went to be with the Lord on July 21st, 2017. She was a very loving and caring woman. Mercedes was a very blessed woman and was survived by her four children, Alfred Abilez, David Abilez, Christine Boyd and Deborah Abilez. Also survived by her companion of 15 years Jesse Perez. She is preceded in death by her husband Jacinto Abilez and her grandson Rickey W. Abilez. Mercedes is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Nelda, David, Nina, Crystal, Christopher "Furr", Ivan, Issac, Imelda, Marc and Jordan. Mercedes, is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26th, 2017 at Grand View Funeral Home, from 5-6pm for family and from 6-7 pm for family and friends, with Rosary following from 7-8pm. Mass will be held on Thursday July 27th, 2017 at 11 am at St. Juan Diego Catholic Church in Pasadena. Family members can be at the church by 1015 am to spend time with Mercedes, before Mass starts and Funeral services will follow after at Grand View Funeral Home.
