Mildred I. Allen, 76, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, in LaPorte, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lee Allen, Sr.; son, Dr. Gordon Lee Allen; parents, Dock and Maudie Giles; brothers, Ray Giles and Cliffard Giles; and sister-in-law, Doloris Giles. Mildred is survived by her son, Michael E. Allen and wife Denise L.; grandsons, Nathaniel “Nate” Massey and Alexander “Xander” Allen; daughter-in-law, Alison Allen; sister, Garnet Giles; brothers, Lowell Giles, Kenneth Giles and wife Pat and numerous loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 10, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home.
