Nathaniel Charles Cloutman, 89 of Pasadena, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. N.C. was born on December 5, 1922 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late, Nathaniel Charles and Martha Serena Pearce. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years Dorothy, 1 brother and 3 sisters. He served in the United States Navy from October `41 until December `46. After 27 years of service he retired from Rohm and Haas in 1985. N.C. was loved by all who knew him both young and old. He left behind a legacy of stories told so charmingly with his quick wit. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his adoring children, Dickie Cloutman, Janice and Bobby Shirley and Bobby and Pat Cloutman. Grandchildren Julie and Gary Gann, Laurie Kimmel and Robert Cloutman and three great grandchildren Zachary Gann, Taylor and Macy Janousek along with numerous other loving family members and friends. The family will gather for visitation Friday, July 13 from 6-8 PM at Grand View Funeral Home. A Celebration of N.C.’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 14 at 10:00 AM in the chapel at Grand View Funeral Home.
