Nathaniel "Nathan" Bruce Gale, 19, of Deer Park, Texas passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019. Nathan was born in Pasadena, Texas on August 3, 1999. He attended Deer Park High School and San Jacinto College where he was working towards his Process Technology Degree.

Nathan was a gentle giant with a heart of gold that all kids and animals adored. He was known to go out of his way to take care of his family and would do anything for his niece and nephews. Although Nathan did not have any biological siblings, you could not convince him that Nathan Dodge and Jared Jannise were not his brothers. He was an avid fisherman and would share hours by the water with his papaw.

Nathan had a personal relationship with God. After accepting Jesus Christ into his life on December 16, 2016, he commemorated the acceptance by having his favorite scriptures tattooed onto his arms.

Nathan was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, William V. Gale, Joan L. Gale, Nolan Toby Oser, Myrtle R. Oser. He is survived by his mother, Dedra Gale; grandfather, Bruce Gale; grandmother, Brenda Gale Calhoun; step-grandfather, Keith Calhoun; uncle, Christopher Gale (Jennifer Young); aunts, Laci Bishop (Zach Bishop) and Kelly Gale (Nick Williams); niece, Avery Gale; nephews, Skylar Bishop, Lincoln Gale and Colin Gale."

The family will receive friends Friday, June 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2019 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Grand View Memorial Park.

You were taken from us too soon. You’ll forever be in my heart, and soon in a tattoo on my skin. I love you Nathan RIP.

My first born grandchild. You make my heart so full. I miss your laugh, your so very kind heart, and the way you say "I love you too, Mimi". My heart and soul are forever broken. I never got to give you your 21st birthday letter. I'll keep it forever. I thought the loss of my parents was the hardest thing to live through, but losing you is by far harder. I love you more always, and miss you much forever and ever.

To my daughter, Dedra, I can't imagine your pain though I see it in your eyes. As your mom, I feel so lost, not knowing how to make it better. I hope you find comfort in your memories, in the love you know Nathan had for you. I pray you know your family needs you, and Nathan is watching over you, hoping you find joy in knowing he is at peace. He is surrounded by loved ones in heaven as he was on earth. May God's grace surround you always.

Love you both more and always,
Mimi/Mom
