Norman Manuel Hartman, 90 of La Porte, Texas passed away peacefully on October, 13, 2017. He was born on October 26,1926 in Houston, Texas. He married his high-‐school sweetheart, Joan Hartman on February 7, 1947. Norman was voted most handsome in his high-‐school senior class. He was an active
volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul thrift shop with his wife, involved in ministries at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and a Navy Veteran of Foreign War. He enjoyed camping, boating, wood-‐working, square dancing, and football. His parents Fred and Anne Hartman, his wife Joan, and Sisters Alice and Myrtle precede him in
death. He is survived in death by sons: Shiloh Hartman, John Hartman and spouse Rebecca Hartman, Grandchildren: Joshua Hartman, Sarah M. Hartman, Angela Nolen, Jon Hartman and spouse Sarah A. Hartman, Great Grandchildren: Blisse Montagna, Morgan Hartman, Dillan Hartman, and Great-Great Grandchildren: Avery Hartman, Cassidy Hartman, and Kash Montagna.
Visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home 8501 Spencer Hwy Pasadena, TX 77505 Tuesday, October 17, 2017 5-8PM. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, October 18 at 10AM at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 816 Park Dr La Porte, TX 77571.
