Olive Marie Russell

She was born Lycoming County, Pennsylvania on October 11, 1930. Olive graduated from Williamsport High School and received a registered nursing degree from Williamsport Hospital School of Nursing. She was married to Jim Russell on January 23, 1953.

Olive worked as an operating room nurse at Pasadena General Hospital and Bayshore Medical Center. She was a member of AORN and she had a passion for square dancing, bowling, playing cards and dominoes.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Russell; children, Diana Conrad and husband Rick, Linda Grimes and James Michael Russell and wife Sue; grandchildren, Jason Russell, John Grimes, Shawn Grimes, Mandy Sumpter and husband Guy, Micheal Biddy, Jennifer Trachier and Jamie Byrd and husband Sean; sisters and brothers, Pearl Long, Harrison Aderhold, Howard Aderhold and wife Florence, Alice Neyhart and husband Judson, Mable Huggins and Donald Aderhold and wife Ruby; 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Aderhold and Verda Isbell Aderhold; and her brother and sisters, Charles Aderhold, Grace Porter, Ruth Doebler, Harold Aderhold and Sarah Shaffer.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway Pasadena, Texas 77505. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10:00am also at Grand View Funeral Home. Interment to follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
