OBITUARY

Patricia Grace Moosavi Deen

October 12, 1948July 31, 2018

Patricia Moosavi Deen was a very special Angel sent down from the Lord on October 12, 1948. During her time on earth, she worked tirelessly to take care of her family, friends and any stranger in need. On Monday, July 31, 2018, this Angels work was done and the Lord called her home to be with him in Heaven. Patricia was the matriarch of our family and worked tirelessly molding the family into the strong, loving, forgiving and blessed family that is has become. Each person touched and affected was blessed being taught the virtue of true forgiveness and the golden rule to treat others how you wish to be treated. Patricia was special. She had the unique personality and charisma, touching everyone she met with an incredibly kind heart, good soul and making life long friends that loved and respected her. She impacted each person, making them better and forcing them to accept the love and kindness she offered to both family members and strangers. Patricia loved everyone, unconditionally. Patricia was very active with her friends and church family at First United Methodist Church. Her church family, friends, activities, help and support she received from this special group provided an abundance of joy and peace in her life. A respiratory therapist early on, Patricia would go on to receive her Masters in Social Work and spend many hours volunteering her time helping others in need. What she perceived as her most significant accomplishment was the rewarding roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin. She devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other close friends she considered family. She gave everything she could and expected nothing in return; except a kiss on the lips every now and then. Patricia was survived by her husband Hassan Moosavi Deen; her siblings Janette Baldwin, Jolynda “Cookie” Waters and William Thomas Taylor; her children, James Harrison, Mehdi “Omeed” Mousavidin, and Sara Turner; her grandchildren, Desiree, Chloe, Marissa, Reza, Ava, Mina, Madeline, Jonathan, Lauren, Jack and Kaspar and great grandchild Easton. She was also survived by her nieces Lynda King and Elham Mousavidin and nephews Richard Boles and Reza Mousavidin and grandnieces and grandnephews Kara, Kaleb, Kobe, Bren, Taran, Termeh, Miral and Barad. She is preceded in death by her mother, Robbie James Taylor and father James Ovin Harvey. Patricia’s celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 4 (viewing at 10:00 a.m.) at the First United Methodist Church at 9601 W. Fairmont Pkwy, La Porte, Texas.
