Paula Lopez

2023. She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas where she met and married the love of her life.

She was married to her high school sweetheart, Alfonso Lopez, for 58 years. Paula had a passion for beautifully decorating her home many times over. She truly enjoyed crafts as she had a very creative nature. These hobbies and her search to find a "good bargain" were rooted in her love for shopping.

She is preceded in death by parents, Juan and Maria Huerta; son, Richard Lopez; sister, Theresa Marquez; brother, Alfonso Huerta.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving and deeply devoted husband, Alfonso Lopez; children, Alfonso Lopez Jr., and Lydia Hegwood; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sister Isabel Huerta; brothers, Juan Huerta and David Huerta; a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends; and her beloved best friend, Faye Burkhart.

Paula was loyal in her love for friends and family. Her strength, determination and endurance had no limit. She will be forever remembered for her beautiful smile, gentle eyes, and caring heart. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy., Pasadena, Texas 77505.
