

Percy Zeringue Jr., 90, of Deer Park, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2024. He was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana, on December 9, 1933, to Percy Sr. and Laura Zeringue. Percy was married to Merlin Zeringue for 65 years and dedicated his career to the oil and gas industry, serving as a Purchasing Agent for United Gas Pipeline. He was known for his passion for fishing, music, and above all, his devotion to family.
Percy was preceded in death by his wife Merlin Zeringue, his parents Percy Sr. and Laura Zeringue, his brother Marvin Zeringue, his son Ken Zeringue, and daughter-in-law Dawn Zeringue.
He is survived by his daughters Melinda Olivier (Mark) and Lisa Ritter (Jimmy), and sons Tim Zeringue, Craig Zeringue (Mary), and Brian Zeringue (Lisa). He also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Scott Olivier, Lauren Estilette, Lance Zeringue, Sarah Butler, Emily Nolte, Brandon Walsh, Corey Walsh, Zachary Zeringue, Jonathan Walsh, and Ryan Zeringue, as well as eleven great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Percy will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
