

Raul Arnoldo Lee was born on March 11, 1944 in Matamoras, Mexico to parents Maria and Arnoldo Lee, who proceded him in death. Raul lived in Matamoras until he was six years old. He was the first of six children. He attended Canales Elementary, Falk Jr. High, Brownsville High School, and Southmore College. After graduation, Raul began a career in the U.S. Navy, where he served from 1964 to 1968, during the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of Hospital Corpsmen 3rd Class. After the Navy, he held a career in Retail Management.
Raul married Odilia Rodriguez on May 28, 1967 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. They made their home in LaPorte, Texas where they raised their family. Raul was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Deer Park, Texas. His marriage and his family were most important to Raul. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Raul loved reading, cooking, watching documentaries, tennis, talking with friends, and gardening. He also loved to travel. He loved the ocean and swimming. Raul enjoyed music, he liked anything from oldies to classical. He especially liked Roy Orbison, Elvis and Gloria Estefan.
Raul is survived by his loving wife Odilia Lee; their two children Mike Lee and Cynthia Sicilia; grandson Ian Sicilia; granddaughters Susan Lee, Stacey Barbee, and Julia Sicilia; and great grandsons Nathan Barbee and Jackson Barbee. He is also survived by his siblings, a great number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
