

Raul Naranjo Jr. passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the age of 69 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born August 26, 1947 in Alice, Texas to Raul and Juanita Naranjo Sr. and was the oldest of five children. He was a loving son and a great big brother.
Raul served his country and was an honorable solider in the United States Army. After his time in the military, Raul would attend school at Texas A&I university in Kingsville, Texas. After attending school, he obtained a job at Walters Oilfield Services working at the King Ranch in Kingsville, Texas. He would later start his career at Exxon Pipeline Company and after 30 years with the company he would retire. After only one month of retirement, he would return back to work as a contractor for EMS and then K & D Pipeline.
In his spare time, he enjoyed working on dragsters and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys. More than anything he loved and cherished spending time with his family and being outdoors. Every Saturday Raul would host a family barbeque.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his grandson Collin Merak Naranjo. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jeanette Naranjo and his eight children Jennifer Naranjo, Marisa and Paul Bryan, Raul and Ashley Suzanne Naranjo III, Michelle and Stephen Ybarra, Dianna and T.R. Owen, Andrew and Crissy Naranjo, Brandon Naranjo and Molly Hearn, Kevin and Cynthia Naranjo and honorary daughters Lorraine Rowe and Devon Rains; grandchildren Annalise Owen, Peyton Bryan, Emerson Naranjo, Thomas Owen IV, and Scarlett Naranjo; brothers Rene, Roland, and Reuben Naranjo and sister Berta Naranjo.
