Raymond Leroy Davidson

RAYMOND LEROY DAVIDSON, age 86, of Pearland, Texas went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 11, 2022. RAYMOND was born June 8, 1935 in Thomas, Oklahoma to George William and Jennie (Keefer) Davidson. Ray or "Buddy”, as friends and family called him, was known by all as a very kind, loving and generous man. He was a Welder/Inspector Supervisor and a member of Crosspoint Church in Pearland. He also served in the United States Army and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, buying/selling and collecting all kinds of cars, and going to garage sales. He loved going out to eat with his friends, John and Navi Hughey and enjoyed meeting weekly with his friends at church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janice Davidson; daughters, Lea Peake and husband Derek; Darla Arnold and husband Raymond; Anitra Davidson; and Raymona Davidson; grandchildren, Derek Peake II and wife Ana; Logan Peake; Khloe Aichlmayr and husband Brian; Bradley Arnold; Jessica Kelly and husband, Christian; Ashley Arnold and husband Tyler; and Crystal Arnold; great-grandchildren, Aiden Peake, Finn Peake, Lila Peake, Evan Schott, and Luna Peake. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Davidson; and sister, Shirley Riggs and husband Bill along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leonard, Bill, Ben and George Davidson; sisters, Mildred Martin, Betty Jean Paschall, and Naomi Jeske.

A visitation will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM.
