Richard Baswell, passed away peacefully August 19, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Bayshore Hospital in Pasadena, Texas. Richard taught himself how to play the guitar at a very early age while watching is older brother. His love for music eventually got him to writing as well as recording music then playing at multiple venues. Richard was a very hard working family man that adored his family. With his witty sense of humor there was never a dull moment when in the presence of Richard. He is preceded in death by his son Randy Baswell(, his parents Lovist & Ruby Baswell, his sister, Audry Beale, and his brother, Edward Baswell) Richard is survived by the love of his life Sandra (Sandy) of 53 ½ years, their children Teresa (Moore) and David, Vicki (Woodward) and James, and Michael Baswell. Richard is also survived by (six Grand Children and six Great Grand Children.) A visitation for Richard will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 6-8 pm. A jam session will take place starting at 1:30pm on Thursday, 8/24 to honor Richard’s love of music to follow with a service to celebrate his life at 2:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Concluding services Richard will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park
