Robert Lee Cook, 75, of La Porte, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at his home. Robert had a career in Construction and refinery. He worked for Exxon, Kaneka and AJ Mundy & Company. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, and had a Captain license and Private Pilot license. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Houston Astros, spending time outdoors and being with his family and riding his Harley Davidson.
Robert‘s companion was Susan Carr. He was preceded in death by: his father, Robert A. Cook and mother, Novella “Cookie”; a sister, Rhonda Cook. He is survived by: two sons, Chris Cook and wife Krystale and Jeff Cook and wife Ashton; one granddaughter, Kadence Cook; one brother, Butch Cook and wife Sue; one sister, Diane Mueller and husband Curtis; two nephews, Bart Cook and Matthew Collins; two nieces, Brandi Cook and Hailey Collins and numerous cousins.
Robert’s visitation is scheduled Wednesday, January 9, from 5:00 to 7:00p.m., at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. His funeral is scheduled Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 2:00p.m., also at Grand View Funeral Home.
