"Bobby" as he was known to most, enjoyed his time outdoors. Robert was married to Doris for 72 years. He and Doris have taken many trips traveling in all directions across the United States and Mexico. His dream trip was to Alaska, an eight week trip through Canada, the Yukon Territories, and from north to south Alaska. He enjoyed camping out and always had his RV and boat ready for a fishing trip.
Robert served his country in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946, during Post World War II. He attained the rank of Seaman, First Class. Robert was employed as a control operator for Ethyl Corporation in Pasadena, Texas and retired after 35 years of service. He was a charter member of the South Avenue Baptist Church of Pasadena, Texas.
At home he enjoyed working in his wood shop. He would build wooden cars, jewelry boxes and more, all of which he normally gave away. He was a kind man and will be missed.
