Roberta Glendening, 88, went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2014 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born on July 17, 1925 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Thomas and Edna Duren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Lester Garland Vaughn and second husband, Rodney Glendening and son, Robert Woodard Vaughn, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Hatley; grandchildren, Robin Cribbs and husband Ryan, Kelly Horne and husband Stuart and Robert W. Vaughn, Jr. and brother, Michael Duren.
Roberta loved sitting on her porch with her beloved dog, Mandy and drinking Coffee. She loved to visit with friends, neighbors and loved spending time with her family. She was a long time member of Golden Acres Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by those whose lives she touched.
Family will receive friends on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 9 am to 10 am at Grand View Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 10 am in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home and Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
