Rolando Rene Ramirez

Rolando Rene Ramirez (Balderaz) went to be with his Lord and savior on Friday, July 17, 2015. He was born on September 17, 1991 in Pasadena, Texas to Leo Ray Balderaz Jr. and Elizabeth Ramirez. He graduated from Pasadena High School in 2011. He enjoyed playing football, basketball, video games and listening to music. He was most fond of his Lexus car which he named “Lexi”. He was a diehard Houston Texan and Rockets fan just like his father. Roland was a dedicated employee of Baker Hughes Corporation. He attended St. Luke’s Catholic Church where he received all of his sacraments. Roland made friends wherever he went. He will be remembered for his contagious smile, gripping personality and big heart. He loved spending time with his family, girlfriend and brother, Johnny when home from the Navy. Roland was a giving person with a huge heart, even after his death he continued to help others through his organ donation.

He is survived by his father Leo Ray Balderaz Jr., brother Johnny Ramirez, sisters Mariah Alcarez, Samantha Balderaz and Sabrina Balderaz, step-parents Letty Balderaz and Tony Alcarez, grandparent Leonel Balderaz Sr. and Antonia Balderaz, numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and associates who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Ramirez-Alcarez, and Grandparents Juan Ramirez and Maria Ramirez Barrientes. He will remain in our hearts forever.

Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s the Evangelist Catholic Church, 11011 Hall Rd. Houston, Texas 77089. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park and a reception will follow at St. Luke’s Social Hall after the interment.
