Dear Uncle Rudy,
You are being described as a family man and  one who always stood ready to lend a helping hand, and I know first hand just how true that is.  You and Aunt Choco opened your doors and hearts to me when I graduated from high school.  Lord knows I would have never been able to attend college had it not been for your offer to house me.  In your home I found a mom, a dad, and a very loving family.  With the moral support and guidance from both of you, I was able to find the determination and fortitude to face the challenges that lay ahead.  I find comfort in knowing the bond formed between us will never end.  I can only hope I can live by your principles and earn a place in Heaven the way you two have.
Thank you for being my guardian angels and for being such an important part of my life.
P.S I feel the void now that both of you are gone, but I rejoice in your reunion with the Lord.

Mr. Trevino was truly one of the Greatest Generation. He dedicated his life to the fight for all working people and specifically his local community. Pasadena and our region are a better place because of him and his dedication. His absence will leave a void in the fabric of our community and in our hearts.

The world lost a great man when the good lord decided to take Mr. Trevino back home to be reunited with Mrs. Trevino.  I remember working with him at a young age during elections or in his catering business and enjoyed every occasion.  My condolences go out to all his family members that are mourning his loss.

Our Uncle Rudy came to our aid and support in the perfect time of our lives.  We thank you for sharing your love, our cousins (Victor, Rodo and Roman), Tia Choco and your house in San Antonio.  The bond  that  developed still stands and we are proud to be a part of Narvaez Trevino family.  We thank God for allowing us to partake in the many blessings he bestowed upon you.
