Salvador V. “Tip Toe” Ybarra, 78, of Deer Park, TX passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018. He was born November 30, 1939 in Port Lavaca, TX to the late Senobio B. and Juanita Villarreal Ybarra. He was married to Mary Ellen Ybarra for 53 years. Salvador had a career in the Petrochemical Industry for Brown & Root at Akzo Nobel. He was a member of Deer Park Masonic Lodge No 1362 and Arabia Shriners. He had a passion for the brotherhood within the two organizations and truly enjoyed his volunteer work of performing as a Shriners clown at various events.
In addition to his parents, Salvador was preceded in death by brothers, Abelardo “Billy” Ybarra, Julio V. Ybarra and sister, Isabel Y. “Chavela” Vasquez. He is survived by wife, Mary Ellen Ybarra; daughters, Rachel Yoakum and husband Kelly and Rebecca Ferguson and husband Curtis; grandsons, Joshua Praytor, Jordan Praytor, Blake Ferguson; granddaughters, Brittany Ferguson, Shequana Owens, Paige Francis; great grandsons, Aries Joey Praytor and Cairo Owens; sister, Leticia Gonzales; brothers, Senobio Ybarra, Rodolfo Ybarra, Rogelio Ybarra and Ramiro Ybarra; lots of extended family and friends and best bud Rambo.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with the Deer Park Masonic Lodge service at 6:00pm in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505. Salvador’s Celebration of Life will follow on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00am. Interment Grand View Memorial Park.
