So sorry to find out that Scott is gone.  He was a dear friend and he will be truly missed.  I will miss Scott very much and I know that he would want everyone to celebrate his life and not just morn his passing. He's my partner in discussions about life, work, study. One time, I got big applause in my presentation of Risk Management, in which he's one of my references for his own philosophy of Safety & Risk Management, summarized in three words; Educate, Motivate, Eliminate. When I asked him what to Eliminate? He answered "Eliminate Stupid" and He continued saying while laughing "I guess one of my idiosyncrasies is that I have low tolerance for being stupid & doing stupid". It's simple quote of him but meaningful and I loved his quote and keep it in mind. Absolutely, he's not only a great friend but also such a great mentor for me.

Dear Davis Family, So sorry to hear about Scott. I grew up with him, while living on Dixie Dr. I remember I was about 7, I was selling rocks and Scott and Richard High bought my biggest rock just to throw at my brother, Chris across the street. All three of them have passed on now, plus Richards brother, Dale and our neighborhood memories will never be the same.

I wish to express my sincere condolences to Scott's family. Scott and I were friends from the first day we met 7 years ago in Kuwait. I consider this also as a big personnal loss for my self and he will have his place in my heart forever.

I was friends with Scott since High School (Milby) where scott and Richard High and I used to hang out together so much that people started calling us "The Three Musketeers" Richard is gone and now so is Scott.
