Shirley Joan Patry Tillery

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Ollie Elizabeth Harding Patry and Charles Joseph Patry and her great-grandson Parker Matthew Pitts. She is survived by her husband, Norton Reese Tillery, and her children and their spouses, Rickie and Diane Tillery and Reesa and Michael Farris. Her grandchildren are Shauna and Donnie Pitts, Bracy Tillery, Caitlin and Derrick Dartez, and Jordan Farris. She is also survived by her brother Charles Larry Patry and wife Bonnie Patry and their children Julie Hall, Ryan Patry and Joanna Patry.

Over her 74 years, Shirley Tillery was a dedicated wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, children’s teacher, caregiver and friend to many who knew her. She attended Faithbridge Church with her husband Reese, where they worshipped and served the Lord in many capacities. She will be greatly missed by all and will be waiting to meet us again in Heaven.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 in the Chapel at Grand View Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
