Sierra Grace Herod departed this life on September 24, 2011, and went home to join the other angels in Heaven. She was born on March 26, 2009 to the union of Roy E. Herod, Jr. and Crystal Annette McDaniel-Herod. Sierra leaves behind her loving parents; 1 brother, Phoenix Zavala; 2 sisters, Peyton and McKenzie Herod; grandparents, Roy and Sabrina Herod, Mike and Tammy Desporte; great grandparents, Gloria Desporte, Virginia Desporte, Roy and Norma Herod and Cecil and Norma Jeane Strange; as well as a large extended family.
The family will receive friends for visitation between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Grand View Funeral Home. A private funeral service and interment will take place in Grand View Memorial Park.
