Stanley “Bo” Dwayne Spradley, 48, of Deer Park, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022, after a brief battle with liver failure, and a prolonged 3 ½ month stay in the hospital. He was born in Pasadena, Texas on March 28th, 1974 to Stan and Michelle Spradley.
Bo joined the Army after graduating high school where he was in the 82Nd Airborne division. He married the love of his life, Natasha, on May 28th, 1994 and 5 days later, the young couple moved to North Carolina where he was stationed for the next 4 years. They had their first child, a daughter, named Adrienne and he was instantly in love, she wrapped him around her tiny finger right away. They moved back to La Porte in 1997 and had their two sons Jeff and Zach, he finally had a couple of boys to wrestle with, and play sports with. Bo had a huge heart, and loved his people immensely. If you were lucky enough to be loved by him, he would do anything for you, no questions asked.
He worked for Lubrizol for over 23 years and spoke fondly of his coworkers. When not at work, Bo took joy in spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoyed hunting, watching sports with his boys and getting outside to throw a football or a baseball with them as often as possible. He was an amazing husband and father. He loved to see his daughter perform in pageants when she was little and his sons play in sports. He loved to spend time with his family and will truly be missed beyond measure. When it came to Christianity, Bo was always a skeptic, but while he was in the hospital Bo had an encounter with God and he placed his faith and trust in the Lord 3 weeks before he passed away. His son, Jeff, and local pastor, Doug Harris baptized him 2 weeks before his death.
Bo is preceded in death by his daughter, Adrienne Spradley, and his mother, Michelle Spradley.
