Tasos Karamitsos, age 72 of Deer Park, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Tasos was born in Greece on March 2, 1951 to Nick and Rena Karalis. He was married to Thelma Garcia Karamitsos for 11 years.
Tasos worked for Big Star Hyundai for car sales. He had a passion for playing guitar, wood work, and fixing clocks.
He is preceded in death by his mom Rena Karali, grandma Fani, grandparents Maria and Theo Karalis, and step-son Kenneth Guajardo.
He is survived by his loving wife Thelma Garcia Karamitsos, step-dad Nick Karalis, his sons Tasuli Karamitsos and Amy Karamitsos, John Karamitsos and Nataly Karamitsos, step-sons William Guajardo and Arcelia, Chris Guajardo and Arielle, and Alexander Garcia, and grandchildren Christian Karamitsos, Alex Guajardo, and Mia Guajardo.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 9:00AM to 10:00AM with a Celebration of Tasos' life beginning at 10:00AM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Immediately following he will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
