What a loving Christian woman, so full of empathy and concern for the masses, Theresa was always there for Matthew (Hebrew for Gift From God). While she knew that our gift was so in need of a friend, a listening ear, a sincere and heartfelt "Love you Matt," she also knew that the purpose of life is a life of purpose. And her purpose was filled with actions wrapped in love and kindnesses. The patience she always had with Matthew, the many times she listened to him when she herself had a multitude of problems...many long distance calls that lasted hours...Theresa was Matthew's light in his dark forest. As a sister-in-law one could not ask for any better. That she held my hand and heart in my darkest hour when my husband, her brother, passed (in much the same way as she has), will be forever written in the sands of my heart; no powerful wave could ever erase her messages of love. Our prayers and thoughts are with her entire family as they spend this time of grief but are coming together to recall their life having been blessed by Theresa Martin Donaldson Talley. She has left her loving fingerprints and touched so many in her lifetime, one can easily emulate her firm faith in God and family. Matthew sends his hugs and is so sad that he was not able to pay his respects and will miss her so much. With Theresa he came to know the true definition of "friend" and "Aunt." My Aunt Theresa was always so kind and loving towards me.  She and I have had many long phone conversations.  She always spoke with words of wisdom.  I never heard her complain.  I wish I was like her!  Once, when I was a child,  we went to the beach and I got stung by a jellyfish and she took excellent care of me.  She used such loving, kind, comforting words.  I will miss her.  I know I will see her again in Heaven...our eternal home with our Heavenly Father.
