Walena Faye Medlin

Preceding her in death are her husband, Billy Jack, her daughter Bettinna (Tina Chatham), parents, sister (Alberta Smith) and brother-in-law Layton Smith Sr.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy Medlin, granddaughter Denise Scarborough and husband Brad, and one great-granddaughter Avery Scarborough. Walena is also survived by her brothers Lavern Lenaburg and wife Carol and Dennis Lenaburg and wife Karen, one Brother-in-law Chuck Medlin and wife Pat. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she held dear to her heart.

On December 25, 1952, Walena married Billy Jack Medlin at Peace Lutheran Church in Bessie, OK. They made their first home in Pampa, TX and eventually settled in Pasadena, TX. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Pasadena, TX.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM with a Celebration of Walena's Life beginning at 1:00PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
