William (Bill) Roger Hassell (73) of Deer Park, Texas, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on May 2, 2024.

Bill was born in Dallas, Texas on October 29, 1950. He grew up in Houston and graduated from Milby High School in 1969. He then attended Baptist Bible College where he pursued studies in world missions. Bill eventually made Deer Park, Texas his forever home with his beloved wife, Ginger. He worked for his family’s home improvement company for more than 35 years, loved decorating for holidays, cherished collecting family photos, and enjoyed listening to the Gaither Band’s gospel music.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Ginger Hassell; father and mother, Billy Ed and Joyce Hassell; and brothers, Marvin and Carey Hassell.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and Sean Brumble; son and daughter-in-law, Scott Hassell and Margot Grant; daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Larry Cohron; grandchildren, Tyler and Meredith Brumble, Sage Brumble, Cooper Killian, Kiptyn Cohron, and Axyl Cohron; great-grandchild, Mila Brumble; step-children, step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bill loved the Lord and will be greatly missed. His family rejoices in knowing that he is now fully healed. A private Celebration of Life is being held for his immediate family members with interment immediately following on May 10, 2024. Bill is being laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park in Pasadena, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Freeway Baptist Church (in care of Missions), 8702 Kingspoint, Houston, Texas 77089.
