David Petty gained his angels wings on Friday September 11, 2020 doing what he loved best, being on his deer lease surrounded by nature and animals. He was a great father, husband, grandpa, and friend to so many people. He was also a member of the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo. He won many trophies for his bar-b-que and was a life time resident of the Houston area. He is proceeded in death by his father, Willis Petty, mother Lola Belle Petty, brother Lonney and Donald Petty. He is survived by wife, Lisa Petty, step daughter Bayley Walker, daughter's Mandy and James Myers of Henderson, Texs, Kim and Doug Vanhorne of Spring, Texas, Son David and Haleigh Petty of Lake Jackson, Texas, sister in law Sidra Petty of Sheldon, Texas, Sheila Petty of Colmesneil, Texas, grandchildren, Hannah and Savannah Myers, Kayla and Chelsea Vanhorne, Natalyn and Devin Petty, numerous nieces and nephews. He was loved by all that knew him.
